Senior Care Authority Announces Mark Molnar as President and Chief Operating Officer

The franchisee-turned-executive will bring personal experience and proven success to his new leadership role.

PETALUMA, CASenior Care Authority, a leading eldercare consulting and assisted living placement franchise led by Founder and CEO Frank M. Samson has announced the appointment of Mark Molnar as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Molnar serves as one of the company’s most successful franchisees alongside his wife and business partner, Mary, in the Cleveland, Ohio market.

Molnar brings a wealth of business experience to the position, including a background in the capital markets, education management and group purchasing organizations. “I spent the first 15 years of my career in the investment securities market, working on Wall Street-type roles and as an equity analyst,” Molnar said. “I later owned an education management company and served as chief financial officer of Corporate United, one of the largest group purchasing organizations in the U.S.”

His journey with Senior Care Authority began with a deeply personal connection. “While I was at Corporate United, my father experienced a health crisis that turned my family’s world upside down,” Molnar said. “Navigating his care — figuring out skilled nursing, assisted living and how to manage it all — was one of the most challenging experiences of my life. When I discovered Senior Care Authority, it struck a chord. I wanted to help other families avoid the struggles we faced.”

Molnar and his wife, an occupational therapist with over a decade of experience working with older adults, launched their Senior Care Authority franchise in Cleveland, OH. They built the business from the ground up, helping local families navigate complex eldercare decisions with compassion and expertise.

Their franchise quickly became a standout in the system. “Mark and Mary are our largest franchise, and they’ve set the standard for success,” said Frank Samson, founder and CEO of Senior Care Authority. “Mark took our model and made it even stronger. His leadership skills, business acumen and dedication to our mission made him a natural choice for this new role.”

Senior Care Authority has earned a reputation as a reliable guide and advocate for families navigating the challenging process of finding high-quality, effective care solutions for their loved ones. The organization’s Certified Senior Advisors serve as senior care strategists, taking the time to understand each family’s unique needs before helping them navigate the complex landscape of available options.

With a strong presence in the senior care industry, the brand boasts an extensive network of premium care providers and valuable resources across the nation. Senior Care Authority’s compassionate and personalized approach includes accompanying families on tours of care facilities, ensuring they feel confident and informed when making important decisions.

In his role as COO, Molnar will focus on scaling the organization, supporting franchisees and driving operational excellence. “With over 100 locations across the country, Senior Care Authority has grown significantly,” Molnar said. “The needs of a network this size are different from when it was smaller. I’m excited to bring my experience as both a franchisee and a corporate leader to this position. It’s an incredible opportunity to strengthen the support we provide to franchisees and help more families in need.”

Samson emphasized the importance of Molnar’s deep understanding of the brand’s culture and mission. “We considered bringing in someone from outside the organization, but Mark was the ideal candidate,” said Samson. “He knows our business inside and out, understands the unique challenges our franchisees face and has earned their respect as a leader. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

While Molnar takes on his new responsibilities at Senior Care Authority’s corporate office, his wife will continue to lead the Cleveland franchise. “We’ve built something special in Cleveland, and I know Mary will continue to make an impact locally,” Molnar said. “This new role allows me to focus on the big picture while staying rooted in what makes Senior Care Authority so impactful — helping families through difficult times.”
