As a business owner of Senior Care Authority Northern Illinois, I am dedicated to helping families navigate the complex world of senior living. I work closely with clients to identify thoughtful senior living and care solutions, ensuring their loved ones receive support rooted in compassion, dignity, and respect.

I specialize in Eldercare Consulting, offering personalized guidance to help families make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being of older adults and provide peace of mind for those supporting them. I hold certifications as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), reflecting my commitment to serving seniors with empathy, knowledge, and integrity.

I am deeply driven to help and serve others, and I consider it a privilege to support families during some of life’s most meaningful—and often emotional—transitions. I have had the opportunity to work alongside hospice teams, an experience that has further shaped my compassionate and family-centered approach to care.

Prior to my work in senior care, I held leadership roles in operations and human resources, where I focused on building inclusive, people-first workplaces. I developed talent, fostered supportive environments, and helped create cultures centered on trust, growth, and genuine care.

By combining a strong foundation in leadership with a compassionate, client-centered approach, I strive to support individuals and families as they navigate important care decisions. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and working in my garden.

Kristopher Teuber brings over 35 years of experience in the construction industry and a deep commitment to supporting older adults and their families as they navigate the challenges of aging. With a background in managing residential, commercial, and municipal construction projects, he now applies his expertise to helping seniors live safely, comfortably, and independently—whether at home or in a care community.

Kristopher’s hands-on experience in carpentry and construction management makes him uniquely qualified to evaluate living environments for safety and accessibility. He understands how to assess homes, manage costs, and ensure all work meets building codes and safety standards. His practical knowledge, combined with a meticulous approach, allows him to recommend effective aging-in-place solutions tailored to each individual’s needs.

In his role as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Kristopher offers families thoughtful, personalized guidance when considering care options.

Known for his integrity, attention to detail, and calm, supportive presence, Kristopher bridges the gap between technical expertise and heartfelt service. His work is driven by a genuine desire to help older adults age with dignity and peace of mind.

Whether modifying a home for safety or guiding a family through senior care decisions, Kristopher is a trusted partner—bringing the skills, experience, and compassion needed to make aging transitions smoother and more secure.

Your Advisor will meet with you in person to discuss your options and then accompany you on visits to places that meet your criteria. We ensure that all your questions are answered, and assist with paperwork and negotiations. The hallmark of our service commitment is that we are by your side every step of the way.

We are paid a referral fee by the communities and care homes so there is no cost to you for our placement services. In the rare case where we are not contracted with a community, your Advisor will let you know at the outset and explain any fees that might be incurred, should you choose that location. You can expect total transparency from us and we respect your right to choose.

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.

Founder and CEO, Frank Samson launched Senior Care Authority® in 2009 with our first location in Sonoma County, California. Previously, Frank built a concierge travel-based franchise into a premier global brand with over 75 franchise owners. With his 20 years of expertise in the franchise industry and a passion to help families and their aging loved ones, Frank identified a need in the senior industry for a concierge approach to help families through challenging and stressful circumstances.
