Area Owner

Larry Balyeat now takes his 40 years of healthcare experience in hospitals, outpatient surgery centers and physician office management to assist seniors and their families in the local community. As the Senior Care Authority franchise owner in Louisiana, Larry will provide invaluable assistance. Senior Care Authority serves families throughout the country through its network of professionals providing elder care consulting and personalized senior placement assistance to families seeking the best care options at home, assisted living and memory care communities.

Carolyn Olson

Carolyn Olson has joined Senior Care Authority Louisiana as a dementia and eldercare advisor. Carolyn will provide guidance, training, and assistance with housing solutions for families and professionals caring for the elderly and people with dementia.

Carolyn Olson has devoted her career to the healthcare industry serving in a variety of positions including clinic practice manager, rehabilitation community care coordinator, and business development. Most recently Olson worked as a Healthcare Account Executive for A Place for Mom where she assisted healthcare professionals and families with referrals to senior living communities

Sarah’s expertise extends from assessing and meeting care needs to navigating budget considerations and arranging tours at top-quality facilities. Her deep understanding of healthcare, combined with her genuine commitment to finding the best elder care solutions, makes her an invaluable resource for families in the New Orleans and Northshore areas.

Your Advisor will meet with you in person to discuss your options and then accompany you on visits to places that meet your criteria. We ensure that all your questions are answered, and assist with paperwork and negotiations. The hallmark of our service commitment is that we are by your side every step of the way.

We are paid a referral fee by the communities and care homes so there is no cost to you for our placement services. In the rare case where we are not contracted with a community, your Advisor will let you know at the outset and explain any fees that might be incurred, should you choose that location. You can expect total transparency from us and we respect your right to choose.

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.

About Us

Founder and CEO, Frank Samson launched Senior Care Authority® in 2009 with our first location in Sonoma County, California. Previously, Frank built a concierge travel-based franchise into a premier global brand with over 75 franchise owners. With his 20 years of expertise in the franchise industry and a passion to help families and their aging loved ones, Frank identified a need in the senior industry for a concierge approach to help families through challenging and stressful circumstances.
