Maureen Simmons, CSA, CDP is a Certified Senior Advisor and Placement Specialist with extensive experience guiding families through the complexities of senior living decisions. She is known for her ability to listen carefully, assess complex needs, and identify the most appropriate care solutions.
After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, Maureen began her career at a large software company, where she developed strong client-focused problem-solving skills that continue to inform her consultative approach today.
Her transition into senior care became deeply personal when she had to find assisted living for two family members. Experiencing the process firsthand, she recognized how overwhelming and emotional it can be for families—and how critical it is to have knowledgeable support and advocacy. This experience led her to join Senior Care Authority.
Today, Maureen meets one-on-one with families to understand their unique care needs and financial considerations. She serves as a trusted guide throughout the placement process, having devoted countless hours to touring senior living communities, meeting caregivers, and reviewing state licensing reports. She accompanies families on tours, assists with paperwork, and provides ongoing follow-up to ensure confidence and satisfaction after placement.
