Meet the Team

Amy Everett, CSA, CDP Area Owner

Amy Everett, CSA, CDP

Area Owner

Amy is a Charlotte native. She currently lives in Matthews with her husband, Chad who is from Texas. They both own a home inspection business but Chad runs and operates so Amy can do what she loves. They have 2 children, Christian and Amelia.

Amy comes to us from the pharmacy world. During her tender there her passion for the Senior community grew even stronger. When Chad and Amy first got married she worked at a facility and loved the residents and really thought of them as family. She got pulled into the pharmacy world after having Christian. The hours and location worked better for the family at that time. She grew her role at the pharmacy with her hard work and determination. She implemented a program, Full Service Medication Management. The program was geared towards seniors who need help with their medications in order to age in place. Her passion for the seniors grew even more at this point. She knew she wanted to work with seniors but could not figure out in what capacity. ay

Amy is also a Board member for the Charlotte Village Network, a non-profit that helps the senior community stay active in their community. They have game nights, movie nights, dinner and lunch dates. At Christmas they even enjoyed a night driving around admiring the Christmas lights .

Amy began the conversation with Mike about Senior Care Authority. Once she heard what they did and how they did- she knew admittedly she wanted to be a part of Mike’s team. Amy is always smiling and loves to laugh. Make sure to tell her a joke when you meet her, she will probably have one to tell you!

Danielle Scott Eldercare Consultant

Danielle Scott

Eldercare Consultant

Danielle Scott has lived in various towns in both North and South Carolina for over 30 years. Danielle currently lives in SC with her husband, Wesley, and their two children along with an assortment of adopted fur-babies.

Danielle received her degree in Early Childhood Education and spent most of her career working with preschoolers and their families. While homeschooling her own children, Danielle searched for new ways to continue providing care for other families as well. Senior Care Authority provided an excellent opportunity to serve local senior adults and their loved ones. Danielle was able to train specifically in Medicaid and Skilled Nursing Placement in the Carolinas and considers herself very fortunate to be able to work with the rest of the team at Senior Care Authority of Charlotte.

As a teenager and young adult, Danielle was able to see her paternal grandfather thrive in an Assisted Living Community. Later, her maternal grandparents received in home help while living with Danielle’s parents, which allowed Danielle to take part in some of their care especially when her maternal grandfather needed hospice help as well. Shortly after beginning with Senior Care Authority, Danielle and Wesley encountered first-hand the challenges of personally providing care for Wesley’s mother when she faced a life-threatening medical crisis. The process of meeting these needs both medically and emotionally with dignity and love was eye-opening. These experiences allow Danielle to approach each family with empathy, respect and a determination to search out the best options available to meet each individual circumstance.

Senior Care Advisor visiting and going over information with senior clients

Your Advisor will meet with you in person to discuss your options and then accompany you on visits to places that meet your criteria. We ensure that all your questions are answered, and assist with paperwork and negotiations. The hallmark of our service commitment is that we are by your side every step of the way.

We are paid a referral fee by the communities and care homes so there is no cost to you for our placement services. In the rare case where we are not contracted with a community, your Advisor will let you know at the outset and explain any fees that might be incurred, should you choose that location. You can expect total transparency from us and we respect your right to choose.

Company History

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.
