Brandon Boyd is the owner of Senior Care Authority of Central Ohio East, where he serves as a dedicated advocate for families navigating the complexities of senior care. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Brandon founded his business as a tribute to his grandparents, driven by his firsthand experience of the challenges and frustrations families face when seeking the best care for their loved ones.

Professional Background
Prior to his work in senior care, Brandon built a robust professional background in IT, healthcare support, and project management. This experience allows him to bring a highly organized and detail-oriented approach to his clients, ensuring that every transition is managed with precision. Since opening his local office in July 2025, Brandon has focused on providing families with the clarity and compassion he once wished his own family had.

A Personal Mission
Brandon’s journey into elder care was inspired by his role as a caregiver for his grandparents. Managing everything from transportation and home upkeep to complex financial matters, he realized that many families feel limited to a choice between staying at home or moving to a nursing home. He is committed to showing families that there are far more options available, including:

Your Advisor will meet with you in person to discuss your options and then accompany you on visits to places that meet your criteria. We ensure that all your questions are answered, and assist with paperwork and negotiations. The hallmark of our service commitment is that we are by your side every step of the way.

We are paid a referral fee by the communities and care homes so there is no cost to you for our placement services. In the rare case where we are not contracted with a community, your Advisor will let you know at the outset and explain any fees that might be incurred, should you choose that location. You can expect total transparency from us and we respect your right to choose.

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.

Founder and CEO, Frank Samson launched Senior Care Authority® in 2009 with our first location in Sonoma County, California. Previously, Frank built a concierge travel-based franchise into a premier global brand with over 75 franchise owners. With his 20 years of expertise in the franchise industry and a passion to help families and their aging loved ones, Frank identified a need in the senior industry for a concierge approach to help families through challenging and stressful circumstances.
