Travis Drake is the owner operator of Senior Care Authority in Northern Utah. A graduate of Weber State University in Ogden Utah he received his Masters degree from Colorado State University. Travis has spent the past 20 years in Medical and Education sales and marketing. His consultative approach has focused on helping patients, customers, and students through novel ideas, products and services.

Travis’ commitment to the community, service orientation, and background in sales and marketing make him the perfect person to lead the Senior Care Authority efforts in Northern Utah. His strong desire to help others and guide them through tough medical decisions is why he decided to enter into the elder care consulting field.

As a Certified Senior Advisor, Travis is here to help guide and coach families through critical decision-making regarding their loved ones’ care and well-being. He is passionate about his work, honest, responsible and builds strong, lasting relationships. He has many resources he will share with you and set your mind at ease knowing that your loved one will be cared for, respected and loved.

Travis’ mission is to find the most appropriate strategies for your loved one to ensure a smooth transition into the next phase of life.

Travis is a husband, father of 4, Local Utah business owner, and an avid outdoor enthusiast When not spending time with his family, Travis enjoys volunteer service opportunities through local youth organizations, church groups, and helping his senior neighbors.

Marti is the co-owner of Senior Care Authority of Utah, where she combines her extensive expertise in sales, marketing, and relationship-building with a deep passion for helping others. Since becoming a franchise partner with Travis in 2022, Marti has dedicated herself to guiding families through the complexities of senior care, ensuring their loved ones receive the quality support they deserve.

With a BS in Business Management Utah State University and a professional background spanning financial services, government contracting, and direct sales, Marti brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and personal connection to her work. Her ability to foster meaningful relationships and deliver tailored solutions has been instrumental in helping hundreds of families navigate critical decisions with confidence. As a Certified Senior Advisor, Marti is committed to empowering families with compassionate guidance and informed recommendations.

Beyond her professional life, Marti is a wife and mother who treasures family time and community involvement. She is also a certified Laughter Yoga instructor, sharing the healing power of joy and positivity to inspire others and promote well-being.

Your Advisor will meet with you in person to discuss your options and then accompany you on visits to places that meet your criteria. We ensure that all your questions are answered, and assist with paperwork and negotiations. The hallmark of our service commitment is that we are by your side every step of the way.

We are paid a referral fee by the communities and care homes so there is no cost to you for our placement services. In the rare case where we are not contracted with a community, your Advisor will let you know at the outset and explain any fees that might be incurred, should you choose that location. You can expect total transparency from us and we respect your right to choose.

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.
