David is the owner of Senior Care Authority serving Northern and Central New Jersey and Rockland County, New York. Senior Care Authority provides expert elder consulting with a strong focus on assisted living, memory care, and senior living placement. David holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Senior Advisor (CSA®), Certified Placement and Referral Specialist (CPRS), and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).

David serves on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater New Jersey Chapter and is an active participant in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, reflecting his deep commitment to advocacy, education, and community support.

In addition, David operates the Beyond Driving with Dignity program, which helps older adults thoughtfully and respectfully assess their driving safety and determine—on their own terms—when it may be time to retire from driving.

David brings a high level of empathy and personal understanding to his work. He lost his father to Lewy body dementia, an experience that deeply influences his dedication to helping families navigate the emotional and practical challenges of dementia care. He also understands the importance of addressing driving safety with compassion, as his family was fortunate that no serious harm occurred during his father’s transition away from driving.

This personal experience, combined with professional expertise, drives David’s passion for helping families find the most appropriate and supportive senior living solutions for their loved ones.

Born and raised in Monmouth County, Bridget proudly calls the “Jersey Shore” home. Her deep connection to the community drives her passion for assisting families in navigating the Senior Care landscape. Personal experiences with her beloved grandmother’s journey through dementia care profoundly shaped Bridget’s empathy and dedication and ignited her commitment to advocating for others facing similar challenges. Rest assured and trusted, her family and roots are built here in New Jersey.

Bridget Ervin brings a wealth of experience to her role as a Community Placement Advisor at the Senior Care Authority of New Jersey. With a Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from Rowan University, Bridget’s career spans a tenure of success in wholesale footwear and healthcare executive recruitment, where she excelled in fostering client relationships and achieving exceptional results.

In this role, Bridget blends her professional expertise with genuine empathy and warmth at Senior Care Authority. She leverages her keen attention to detail and deep understanding of family dynamics to guide families through the complexities of senior care options. Whether it’s finding the right assisted living facility, dementia care, or residential placement, Bridget is committed to ensuring families receive compassionate support and the highest level of care.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Caren has called Central Jersey home for over 25 years. As a member of the “sandwich generation,” she understands the emotional and logistical challenges of balancing a career, family life, and the evolving needs of aging parents. Her personal journey—supporting her father, stepfather, and mother through transitions from independent living to higher levels of care—sparked a deep commitment to helping other families navigate similar decisions with confidence and clarity.

Before shifting her focus to senior care, Caren spent more than 25 years leading customer-focused teams in corporate America, holding leadership roles at respected brands like TUMI and Kenneth Cole. Her background in relationship management, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination now serves as the foundation for her work with families—combining strategic thinking with warmth, compassion, and a personal touch.

Caren leverages her deep knowledge of Central New Jersey’s senior living landscape and strong local connections to offer tailored, stress-free guidance. Whether families are exploring independent living, assisted living, or memory care, she is committed to helping them find the right environment where their loved ones can thrive—with dignity, safety, and joy.
