David is the owner of Senior Care Authority for northern and central New Jersey and Rockland County in New York. He is a Certified Senior Advisor®, a Certified Placement and Referral Specialist, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Beyond Driving with Dignity professional. He helps families and seniors navigate the broad, confusing, and stressful conversations regarding senior living options. David also can help a family navigate the complex and sensitive senior driving issue. He has helped many families throughout New Jersey and in Rockland County find the best senior living solutions. He helps them get the answers and information they need so they can make educated decisions and establish well thought out plans. David has also successfully helped seniors “self-assess” if they should retire from driving.

David was raised in central New Jersey where he also went to Rutgers. He is a proud Scarlet Knight! He now lives in Bergen County and spends much of his time visiting and reviewing senior communities — including assisted living, independent living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities — to help his clients make the best possible decisions for their loved ones. David will meet one-on-one with families to assess their needs and accompany them on visits to top-rated communities, assist with negotiations and paperwork, and follow up with families after a placement is made. If the timing isn't right for moving into a senior living community, he will help the caregiver, family, and senior understand all the options available to them.

David knows how stressful it can be to search for the right care and best living solution for a loved one in crisis. The abundance of options, establishing budgets, identifying the specific needs and all the paperwork required can make the process overwhelming. He can relate to much of the process because of what he did to help both his parents.

David is the executive chairperson for the Alzheimer's Association of Greater New Jersey Bergen/Passaic walk. He is also on the board of the Northern New Jersey Senior Care Network and the Bergen County Alliance for Senior Services, the Leadership Committee of ACAP (Adult Children of Aging Parents) Bergen County, and is active in The New Jersey Senior Care Group.

Ellie Miller grew up in New Jersey. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Communication Science and a certificate in Jewish Studies. She is an alumna of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion where she earned her Certificate of Ordination, a Master’s Degree in Hebrew Literature, as well as a Master’s Degree in Religious Education. Ellie served as a congregational rabbi for nineteen years before she founded MAKOMnj, a new, independent, Jewish community, offering warm, accessible, and meaningful Jewish experiences. She is a Rabbis Without Borders fellow and a past president of the Morris Area Clergy Council. Ellie lives in Morristown with her three children Sam, Meg, and Jack.

Personal experiences with her beloved grandmother's journey through dementia care profoundly shaped Bridget's empathy and dedication and ignited her commitment to advocating for others facing similar challenges. Bridget Ervin brings a wealth of experience to her role as a Community Placement Advisor at the Senior Care Authority of New Jersey. With a Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from Rowan University, Bridget's career spans a tenure of success in wholesale footwear and healthcare executive recruitment, where she excelled in fostering client relationships and achieving exceptional results.

In this role, Bridget blends her professional expertise with genuine empathy and warmth at Senior Care Authority. She leverages her keen attention to detail and deep understanding of family dynamics to guide families through the complexities of senior care options. Whether it's finding the right assisted living facility, dementia care, or residential placement, Bridget is committed to ensuring families receive compassionate support and the highest level of care.
