You do not have to figure out senior care alone. When a loved one needs more support, the decisions can feel emotional, confusing, and overwhelming. My role is to help your family understand your options, ask the right questions, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

I’m Ankur Oberoi, owner of Senior Care Authority serving Loudoun County and parts of Fairfax County. As a Certified Senior Advisor®, I help families explore assisted living, memory care, independent living, and other senior care resources with compassion, honesty, and dependable guidance.

Before joining Senior Care Authority, I spent many years as an IT leader helping teams navigate complex decisions. I also founded ZoomieZ, a boutique care business built on trust, safety, and personal attention. These experiences shaped how I serve families today: by listening first, being dependable, and helping people make thoughtful decisions during stressful moments. I know this journey is deeply personal. My goal is to help your family feel informed, supported, and confident while honoring the dignity, comfort, and individuality of your loved one.

My promise is simple: I will listen with compassion, guide you with honesty, and help your family feel less alone during this important chapter.

Your Advisor will meet with you in person to discuss your options and then accompany you on visits to places that meet your criteria. We ensure that all your questions are answered, and assist with paperwork and negotiations. The hallmark of our service commitment is that we are by your side every step of the way.

We are paid a referral fee by the communities and care homes so there is no cost to you for our placement services. In the rare case where we are not contracted with a community, your Advisor will let you know at the outset and explain any fees that might be incurred, should you choose that location. You can expect total transparency from us and we respect your right to choose.

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.

Founder and CEO, Frank Samson launched Senior Care Authority® in 2009 with our first location in Sonoma County, California. Previously, Frank built a concierge travel-based franchise into a premier global brand with over 75 franchise owners. With his 20 years of expertise in the franchise industry and a passion to help families and their aging loved ones, Frank identified a need in the senior industry for a concierge approach to help families through challenging and stressful circumstances.
