Bonnie Beinhorn is very enthusiastic to bring her skills and compassion to helping families in South Florida as the proud owner of Senior Care Authority in Broward County. It is an area she is very familiar with having moved here in 1981 from Westchester County, NY, and a purpose she is passionate about.
From personal experiences with a parent and other aging family members, Bonnie understands that finding the right care and living arrangements for someone in need can be a very time-consuming, confusing, and stressful process. There are many options to explore, with geographic, financial, and medical issues to be considered, often while balancing work and other obligations. She knows how valuable it is to provide assistance and solutions to navigating these challenges. Her strengths as a good listener and problem solver, with the ability to empathize, as she has often been told, are well suited to her current role.
After a distinguished career in leadership and client-centered positions for major companies, Bonnie followed her entrepreneurial spirit and sought a business opportunity where she could apply her background and fill a need. The growing senior segment was of particular interest and after learning about Senior Care Authority knew it was an organization she wanted to be a part of. She was very impressed with the robust training and ongoing support offered to owners, the different services available, and its outstanding reputation among locations in Florida and nationwide.
As a life-long learner, Bonnie is continuously expanding her knowledge and expertise. She has earned B.S. and M.B.A. degrees with honors and completed a Graduate Program in Mediation and Conflict Resolution. Her credentials also include the industry designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Florida Life and Health Insurance License, both of which she says the required ongoing education to maintain have proven to be very relevant in the eldercare field. Most recently she added Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and is now becoming a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA.)
Bonnie has always been actively involved in the community, volunteering her time with worthwhile causes that have impacted people close to her such as Cancer, Heart and Alzheimer’s disease, and supporting disadvantaged children, animal rescue, and first responders, among others. She enjoys traveling, the arts, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and two adorable dogs she adopted from shelters.
Bonnie is very excited to work with families and professionals in providing quality senior care placement and consulting services with the highest ethical standards. The Senior Care Authority team is flexible and available to help clients based on their schedule, including evenings and weekends, and personally tours communities with them in Broward County.Contact Us
Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.Call Us Today
