About Us

Kim Hafenscher brings more than ten years of senior living expertise to the Senior Care Authority Denver Metro team. Throughout her career, she has supported more than 1,000 families in making empowered decisions about the safety, well-being and care of their loved ones.

After working with two of the nation’s top senior living providers, Kim committed the second phase of her career to helping families find the best possible environment for their loved ones as an elder care consultant, specializing in senior living placement. Today, she is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Senior Advisor candidate, representing nearly 400 senior living communities throughout the Denver metro area.

Kim’s passion for elder care started at a young age. Growing up in a multigenerational home, her teen years were devoted to caring for her grandmother who had Multiple Sclerosis. Because her family didn’t have the financial resources for professional home care or assisted living, they pulled together to provide the most loving and dignified life they could for their grandmother. During that time, Kim watched own her mother struggle to balance a household, raise three children, work full-time, and try to maintain some level of personal care, which created endless empathy for family caregivers, especially those in the “sandwich generation.”

Kim’s expert knowledge of the industry, deep compassion for families in crisis, and vast resource network are the reasons families lean on her as they navigate difficult family conversations and decisions. She works tirelessly to educate families quickly and thoroughly, allowing them to be more confident in their decision-making throughout the elder care journey.

Kim is the proud mother of three adult daughters who are the light of her life.
