Christopher Lyboldt Local Senior Advisor

Christopher Lyboldt

Local Senior Advisor

Chris and Daryl Lyboldt have a passion for working with seniors. When Daryl’s father required daily care, they experienced the complexity of finding and funding the ideal senior care community for him. Becoming fixtures at that community, they got to know each of the residents as well as management as though they were family.

When Bob passed in 2017, Chris and Daryl felt driven to officially join the industry. They had a wealth of personal experience and knowledge and were now positioned well to help other seniors and their families navigate the complex and emotional journey of finding an ideal environment for a loved one. Daryl, a realtor (SRES) and interior designer by trade, began by facilitating the renovation and sale of seniors’ homes through her company, Burton Home Group. She also re-purposed their personal belongings, conducting estate sales and managing the move into their new home. After helping families in her first two years, the need that many Atlanta families had in helping their loved ones transition from their homes into a senior living community became very clear. This led them to bring Senior Care Authority to Atlanta, Georgia.

Senior Care Authority offers these primary services:

* Placement Assistance (finding the best option for Assisted Living/Memory Care/Independent Living)

* Eldercare Consulting (creating a realistic step-by-step plan to navigate the decisions you may face when supporting your loved one with eldercare needs)

* Family Coaching (serving as a neutral party to help facilitate difficult conversations)

*Advocacy (asking the right questions, and sorting through all the information and options families are faced with)

Chris and Daryl consider these services a labor of love. They are a one-stop-shop for families and can assist in finding the perfect senior care options. They can also help with the sale of the home and move management into their new senior living residence.

They volunteer their time at different senior communities they serve and often visit with the residents they’ve worked with.

Chris and Daryl have a son, Aidan, who is 16 years old, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. They serve at their church on Sunday mornings, storytelling and leading worship. Chris and Daryl also are avid tennis players, taking advantage of the robust tennis community in Atlanta. Christopher’s getaway hobby is bass fishing, and he’s been fishing in club tournaments since 2004.

Company History

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.
