About Us

Eddie is the owner of Senior Care Authority of Greater Annapolis, serving Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and Queen Anne’s counties. He is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), and a certified educator for Beyond Driving with Dignity, a nationally recognized self-assessment program for older drivers.

Eddie’s passion for senior care is deeply personal. As a teenager, he watched his mother and aunt struggle to care for his grandfather after the loss of his grandmother. His grandfather, who lost his sight while serving in World War II, required increasing levels of support. As weeks turned into months, the physical and emotional toll of caregiving grew, eventually leading the family to hire a live-in caregiver and later transition him to a nursing home. Looking back, Eddie recognizes how much his family could have benefited from the guidance and advocacy of a senior care advisor during that challenging time. Years later, his perspective deepened further when his father-in-law was diagnosed with dementia, reinforcing just how complex and emotional senior care decisions can be.

After a 20-plus-year career as a print media publisher, Eddie found his true calling in helping families navigate these transitions. Through Senior Care Authority, he provides eldercare consulting and personalized placement services, helping families understand their options and make informed decisions about independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing.

Eddie personally tours and evaluates senior living communities, interviews staff, and reviews state regulatory reports to ensure families have accurate, transparent information. He works one-on-one with families to assess care needs, coordinate and accompany community tours, assist with negotiations and paperwork, and provide follow-up support after placement. His mission is to advocate for families, reduce stress, and guide them with clarity and compassion during one of life’s most difficult journeys.
