Why We Do What We Do | Senior Care Authority Franchise Purpose

When I started Senior Care Authority years ago, the catalyst was everything I went through with my own parents. I wanted to start a company that truly helped families navigate these types of crises.

I do this because I love it. I had no idea that my superpower would be helping families find the right assisted living communities for their parents. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to help people.

I’ve always been drawn to seniors my entire life; helping them figure things out, overcome challenges, and enjoy their later years instead of being afraid of them.

I have a Senior Care Authority franchise because of my father-in-law. As he began to age, we fell into every pitfall imaginable. We constantly said, “Wouldn’t it be great if there were someone who could navigate this entire thing for us?” We would have loved to have someone like us to lean on during those difficult days with our aging parents. I chose Senior Care Authority and the senior care industry because my family had very difficult experiences. We lived with Alzheimer’s for ten years and made every mistake possible. Once I realized there were people who could help walk you through it, I was drawn to the work. Having someone guide us made the process far less stressful, and that’s why I wanted to become a franchisee.

We wanted to build a business that made us feel good about what we were doing. We love helping older adults, and the families who care for them, navigate their eldercare journey.
