Frank Samson, Founder/CEO – Senior Care Authority:

My father passed away. He had been ill for quite a while, and then shortly afterward, my mother passed away as well.

Marcy Baskin, Senior Vice President, Franchise Support & Training:

Both of my parents became ill. My dad was physically ill — everything from the neck down.

Frank Samson, Founder/CEO – Senior Care Authority:

I was dealing with a lot of crisis within my family, and it was incredibly challenging, to say the least.

Marcy Baskin, Senior Vice President, Franchise Support & Training:

My mom was showing early signs of dementia.

Cynthia Perthuis, Franchisee, New York & Florida:

It was very overwhelming. My father had Alzheimer’s, and my mother passed away about five years before he did. It was sudden, overwhelming, and truly life-changing.

Lisa Isbell, Franchisee, Richmond, VA:

I personally went through the placement process with my own father.

John Alagood, Franchisee, Ft. Worth & North Dallas, TX:

My mom toured memory care communities alone, without an advocate, while trying to make one of the most important decisions of her life.

Lisa Isbell, Franchisee, Richmond, VA:

He  was in the hospital, and we were given only two days’ notice that he was being discharged. We needed to find a care facility for him.

Marcy Baskin, Senior Vice President, Franchise Support & Training:

I had no idea how to do that. I didn’t know what questions to ask or who to turn to for help.

Adam Flatau, Franchisee, Long Island, NY:

I only hoped that there was an entity, a source, a person, something out there that could help other people do this, and Senior Care Authority all of a sudden popped up to my radar.

Frank Samson, Founder/CEO – Senior Care Authority:

I’m Frank Sampson, CEO, Senior Care Authority. We work with families more in a concierge, full-service type of operation, and our specialty is finding the best places for a senior to live and get proper care. Everybody either has someone, knows someone, knows someone who has someone who needs this kind of help. So we’re here. A lot of people come into it because they really do want to help people, they’ve gone through it themselves with loved ones, parents, and they want to be able to kind of give back, and at the same time, you can make a very good living while doing that.

Roger Sunner, Franchisee, Fresno, CA:

Before I started my franchise, I was in corporate America for 25 years. I was in sales and marketing.

Jodi Glacer, North Broward & Palm Beach Counties, FL:

I was in corporate America for 30 years.

Cynthia Perthuis, Franchisee, New York & Florida:

I finished my career with about 25 plus years on Wall Street.

Adam Flatau, Franchisee, Long Island, NY:

I was in the commercial real estate industries.

John Alagood, Franchisee, Ft. Worth & North Dallas, TX:

I spent 20 years in crisis management and consulting. So I like to say I help families or help people make informed, courageous decisions under difficult circumstances. I just do that in a different context now.

Frank Samson, Founder/CEO – Senior Care Authority:

Most of our very successful franchise owners come from corporate America. We teach them the business. Now they have the independence of being on their own and helping a lot of people.

Roger Sunner, Franchisee, Fresno, CA:

Since I started my business, I find that you control your own destiny.

Cynthia Perthuis, Franchisee, New York & Florida:

I really wanted to make a change to something where I could not only do well financially, but also do well with my heart.

Lisa Isbell, Franchisee, Richmond, VA:

The staff is great, the training program is great, and the structure is, I think, far better than any of the others that are out there.

John Alagood, Franchisee, Ft. Worth & North Dallas, TX:

If you’re motivated by helping a family or senior have dignity and quality of life in later years, then this is an opportunity to make a living by making a difference.

Jodi Glacer, North Broward & Palm Beach Counties, FL:

People are so genuinely happy and relieved when I speak to them.

Roger Sunner, Franchisee, Fresno, CA:

The sky’s the limit.

Lisa Isbell, Franchisee, Richmond, VA:

I love what I’m doing now with Senior Care Authority.

Marcy Baskin, Senior Vice President, Franchise Support & Training:

This business is not going away. This service, it’s so needed.

Frank Samson, Founder/CEO – Senior Care Authority:

My vision for the future of Senior Care Authority is we want to have strong representation of excellent franchise owners in every major metropolitan area throughout the US, throughout Canada, because everybody’s getting older around the world.

For more information, visit SeniorCareAuthority.com/franchiseI learned about Senior Care Authority because I was a customer. Going through that experience, having someone guide us, listen to our needs, hit all the bullet points we were looking for, and make the entire process so much less stressful was amazing. And that’s why I wanted to become a franchisee.
