March 26, 2026 – Senior Care Authority®, a nationally recognized leader in eldercare consulting and senior placement services, is proud to announce the opening of its newest franchise location serving Northern New England. The new location is led by Patrick Waddell, who is dedicated to providing families with expert guidance through the often overwhelming process of choosing the right senior care options for their loved ones.
A Beverly, Massachusetts native with deep ties to Essex County, Waddell has lived throughout New Hampshire and also has family roots in Maine. His lifelong connection to the region and passion for supporting older adults inspired him to open the Senior Care Authority franchise and help families navigate the complex challenges that come with aging.
“I will listen,” emphasized Waddell. “I partner with Senior Living and Memory Care communities and share information on appropriate living situations with clients and their families. Through my referral network, I help people access legal assistance, real estate professionals, skilled nursing facilities, home care aides, and other resources. If I don’t know an answer or have an available referral source, I will find one.”
Waddell’s interest in supporting seniors is deeply personal. “Older adults are often overlooked, but I truly enjoy hearing about how things were or perspectives on life today,” Waddell shared. “The person you knew yesterday is still here, even if they have passed on. They are still sharing their wisdom, if you listen.”
Senior Care Authority offers a comprehensive suite of services to support seniors and their families, including:
- Assisted Living and Memory Care Placement Services: Expert guidance on selecting the most suitable senior living options, with evaluations based on cleanliness, safety, amenities, staff qualifications, and more.
- Elder Care Consulting: Helping families navigate complex healthcare decisions, from in-home care and respite care to dementia care and nursing care facilities.
- Peace of Mind Visits: Regular check-ins with seniors to ensure they are receiving the quality care they deserve, providing reassurance to families who may not be able to visit regularly.
- Beyond Driving with Dignity Program: A Senior Care Authority exclusive program that helps seniors make informed decisions about their ability to continue driving, ensuring safety while maintaining their dignity.
- Guidance and Planning: Assistance with understanding financial considerations and connecting families with trusted financial advisors, elder law attorneys, and estate planners.
Waddell is also active in his community, having coached baseball for 18 years with town and travel teams for players ages 7 to 16. His commitment to mentoring young people mirrors his passion for supporting older adults and their families.
“My goal is to help older adults and their families navigate the difficult waters of aging,” Waddell explained. “Whether it’s housing options, veterans’ benefits, dementia care, home safety, or family dynamics, the list of challenges can be endless. I want families to know they have someone who will listen, guide them, and help them find the right solutions.”
