I would like to take this opportunity to brag on the company I work for and support, Tore’s Home. I have been employed with this Company since 2009 and seen a lot of changes, both with the Company and with the employees who work at Tore’s Home. When I started with Tore’s, we only had one location and now we have two locations, plus Home Care. While the Company grows, the employees have been given opportunity to grow as well. In 2009 Tore’s Home did not have housing or transportation, however as a single mom I was able to bring my children to work with me. This benefit allowed me to support my children outside of work and support them even while at work. The only thing my children had to do was be able to entertain their selves. The residents loved having my children in the homes. I have been given pay increases, promotions and was able to purchase my own home. During these 10 years all I have ever been asked to do is show up to work, be drug free and to take care of Tore’s Home residents. I continue to be amazed at the length Tore’s Home go to just to assure that the employees have a good life when they leave work. I was here when the housing started and was taken back by the story’s I heard on what conditions our employees were living under before they were placed into Tore’s Home housing. This Company continues to reach out to employees as to their needs and what the company can do to help them. In closing, I just want to say I work for a Company that truly cares and is long suffering with employees in order to help them during trying time. Thank you for caring!

My wife works for Tore's Home Inc. I have never seen her come home so Happy about her job. She loves the staff that she works with and the Residents as well. She has never came home unhappy about her work day. I think she likes working more than she likes staying at home

I cannot say enough good things about Tore's Home. My mother fell and was unable to care for our father, whose dementia was rapidly worsening. Carrie Mathis met with us the day after my mother came home from the hospital and home healthcare arrived the next day- amazing service. The people who came to help were like family. They were such hard workers. They ended up caring for both parents for a few weeks. My dad reached a point where we could no longer care for him at home, so Tore's was kind enough to place him at one of their homes for 5 weeks until he could be placed in a permanent memory care/ skilled nursing facility. He could be a handful, but no one complained. He was treated with the utmost kindness. The staff truly love their residents and treat them and their families with the utmost respect. The atmosphere is as close to being at home as you can get. I admire Tore for doing something to concretely address the housing, transportation and child care needs of his employees. I applaud the new facility he plans to build near the Deerlake community. I did not meet an employee I would not be happy to be my neighbor. There is such a need for elder care in our area. This is a truly novel model .

My parents lived at Tore's Home for over three years. My mom had Parkinson's Disease and had been asked to leave by another assisted living facility in town because of the time needed to take care of her. We even hired an aide to assist her 24/7 at a considerable expense, but that still didn't satisfy their management. That's when we started looking for another facility and found Tore's Home. What an incredible difference. They welcomed my mom and dad with open arms and told them they had never asked anyone to leave Tore's Home. Not only was the level of care so much better then the other facility, but there was no more need for the 24/7 aide. I can't say enough about their level of service. My parents loved the people there and the Tore's staff loved them. In fact, when my mom passed, some of the staff actually attended her funeral - even on their day off! Thank you Tore's Home for doing all you did to make the last few years of each of my parents so happy. I can't express enough praise for everything they did.

I have worked at a variety of places, and have had employers who went above and beyond for their employees. Working at Tore’s for two and a half years in the office has allowed me many opportunities to witness just how far my present employer will go to help his employees. I have seen him give every person a fighting chance to better their lives, regardless of transportation issues, child care dilemmas, or needing more affordable housing. Tore’s has created a safety net for the employees going through life’s struggles and advancement opportunities for those who want it. Does every story have a Cinderella ending? No. Not everyone is ready to pay the price, which is simply to show up for their scheduled shifts, stay drug free, and to properly care for the residents. As forgiving as my employer is, these are issues that this company will not compromise on, and I am proud to be a part of this team for those and many other reasons.
