Rose Haven in ST. HELENA

I spent time here as a child growing up. Charles and Marlyn were kind enough to open their hearts and home up to me as I was growing up. They owned and operated Rose Haven and some day I hope to return to have a chance to remember the joy I felt while there. This post is meant as a review so I can say this from the heart. I was really impressed, even as a young child at how well cared for the residents and the facility was cared for. Charles spent much of his day tending to the grounds and the house as Marylin cared for the residents. One of my fondest memories was when I got to help make applesauce and pear sauce with him. It's a family tradition in my home I passed down to my kids year after year now. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see if Peter and his sister are still there. They were from Africa and they were so nice. They helped out around the house and you could see how much they loved the place and the residents. This place holds a special place in my heart and I know you and your loved ones will feel it to.
