My father entered long term care in January of 2019. This was an emergency situation as he was leaving rehab and we were told he needed 24/7 care and our mother was also very ill and in and out of the hospital. I flew into to AZ from TX and toured multiple homes and knew immediately when i entered that this was the right choice. They made every accommodation possible for him to be transferred from Banner Sun City within 48 hours time. Me, my siblings and our mother have visited dozens, if not 100+ times over the past 9 months and found the home to always be spotless, guests clean, open door policy, very secure with alarms/ locks, smelling like home cooked food, treating our father like family. There have been multiple times that we have needed to consult with the owners on our father's condition and get recommendations for his care. The owner is a registered nurse, and she is not just an owner/ administrator, she is providing personal care to each of the individuals that live in her facility. The caretakers are fantastic, the phone is always answered and if there is an emergency they immediately contact us. They treat our Dad like family, they have celebrated every holiday with great attention and celebrated his birthday with his favorite meal, cake, decorations and a personal gift. We have developed a close relationship with this group home and feel our dad is under the best care possible. Reach me @ [email protected]
