HEARTLAND HEALTH CARE CENTER-UNION (RESIDENTIAL CARE) in Union

My family and I are very grateful for ProMedica of Union and their Staff. The staff were super-efficient. I never had to reach out for any updates because the staff always kept me informed. The structure and procedures made it easy to visit whenever without having to interrupt staff, or without having to wait. In addition, they provided superior care. The variety and intensity of therapy he received got him back on his feet within our goal period. All their efforts demonstrated they care. I loved seeing some of the residents sitting around the nursing desk. Thank you everyone for being so friendly, thorough and for caring enough to be there. Most of all, thank you all so much for getting Stan back to home to us. PS. I loved seeing some of the residents sitting around the nursing desk. Thank you for knowing we are social beings and keeping patients close makes them feel safe and accepted.

A family member was assigned to Heartland of Union S.C. for rehab after a fall. The facility is very nice and clean and the staff works hard to make sure all needs are met in a timely manner. Upon entering, I am always greeted with a smile. Robin is absolutely amazing! She is always welcoming to family members and is just a genuinely sweet and gracious lady. She is like the family member one wishes they had! Mitzi is also a nice person who works diligently to make sure all concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Overall, the staff—physical therapists, nurses, CNAs, cafeteria staff, and janitorial staff work hard to make the stay as nice as possible.

After a fall at home I was admitted to my local hospital. Once admitted, it was found out that I had suffered rhabdomyolysis along with being Covid positive. It was stated that I would need post acute rehab to regain my independence. Thankfully my granddaughter works in the healthcare field and had suggested that I give ProMedica of Union a shot for my rehab needs. My primary care physician states today after my follow up appointment that she was so pleased to hear that I went through with the rehab stay and allowed for proper treatment. I would recommend ProMedica to anyone for the rehab, the nursing care, and even the dietary department. Big thanks to the entire team, once again.

At 31 years old I was transferred to this facility. I cannot say how grateful I am for all of them and for how much they have helped me and my family in this difficult time. Very grateful for them all! The best thing about them is that they’re all still my friends after.

Nursing care is good and therapy team is great. Having family working here and available to see after many years Is also a plus.
