Stacy Y Marlin

After working for more than 20 years in the healthcare industry, Stacy Marlin has found a way to use her experience to help others who are facing life changing decisions for themselves or a family member.
“I have been looking for a career that would allow me to use the knowledge, skills, and experience I gained in healthcare to help seniors in need. Senior Care Authority has given me the opportunity to use my strengths and help families during a difficult times.”

Stacy was born and raised in Central Texas. She attended Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health. After working in healthcare for many years, she decided to return to school and earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Through her own family experiences, she has been faced with complex decisions for her father, who was battling cancer, and her grandmother, who could no longer remain safely at home. Stacy understands the struggles and challenges families face in making these decisions. Her goal is to help families make this process more bearable by being by their side and sharing her expertise to find the best fit for each person.

Stacy’s background in healthcare positions her well for assisting seniors and their families to make good choices. She now spends much of her time touring and reviewing local living communities – including assisted living, independent living, memory care, and residential care homes. She personally meets with each family to assess their needs, accompanies them on tours of pre-approved facilities, assists them with their negotiations and paperwork, and follows up with the client once the placement has been made.

There is no cost to families for Stacy’s placement services.

Essential Conversations For Families

There are those subjects that we often avoid discussing with our family. Sometimes it can be privacy issues, or discomfort in asking questions that have until now been considered off limits.
