A strong background in service to others combined with strong family ties – give Roberto Alvarez the perfect blend for success as the new owner of Senior Care Authority for Central Florida.

Senior Care Authority serves families throughout the country through its network of professionals providing elder care consulting and personalized senior placement assistance to families seeking the best care options at home, assisted living and memory care communities.

Roberto states, “I have years of experience in management and sales. In 1989 I began working for EVERGREEN Aviation, I became the Operations Manager, and held that position until 2008 (both in California and Florida), when I left to expand some business opportunities.  I launched my own insurance and real estate consulting.  For the last three years, I’ve worked as wholesale distributer, with my own business Prada Wholesale Beauty Supply.”

He adds, “My background in sales and management will be very beneficial to my senior care families.  My experience drives me to provide comfort and the utmost customer service at a time that senior care families need it the most.  I have always felt a calling to help those around me regardless of the field that I have worked in. My ability to help those around me during their time of need is what convinced me to enter SCA in the senior care industry.”

Roberto was born and raised in Cuba and migrated to the United States in 1989. He resided in California for 7 years, and moved to Florida in 1996. He has six children, two of which currently live with him and are studying nursing at the University of Central Florida.

Roberto states, “Within my community I commonly participate in walks and charity events to raise funds for March of the Dimes as my twin granddaughters were born prematurely.   In my spare time I enjoy to cook and spend time with my children and grandchildren. Besides entertaining my family, I am also fond of traveling and fishing.”

Roberto now will assist each senior care family through the process of visiting a selection of communities and residential care homes, based on the family’s requirement, and support them in making the best, most informed decisions. He can also continue to mentor families on an ongoing basis once a new home is selected.   There is no cost to families for Roberto’s placement services. Instead, he earns a fee from the facility after a placement is made.
