Don Minter finds satisfaction in taking care of people. His compassion was unparalleled during his 11 years as a food and beverage director in a continuing care retirement community. He has always taken pride in providing the best food and care in the industry by utilizing his high energy style and 35 plus years of restaurant background. This has given the residents what they want most: many choices for the best food quality in a clean, friendly environment. Don implemented restaurant style dining in his community of 260 residents at Brandon Woods at Alvamar in Lawrence, KS. He hired an excellent staff committed to and passionate about taking care of people which proved to be a formula of success.
Why SCA? Don has first hand knowledge of many of the struggles that families have in placing their loved one in the proper facilities with the proper care. All needs are different and Don's goal is to know the systems inside and out to be able to help the families make informed decisions.
In his spare time Don enjoys family, fitness, tennis, boating, and generally anything having to do with the great outdoors.
